The Chicago Proforma is a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet required by the Chicago Department of Housing for all multi-family rental developments using any city funds. The Proforma handles up to 14 layers of financing, 65 residential and 22 other types of project income and is specifically designed to handle City of Chicago transactions (including the ARC and Donations Tax Credit programs). Lighten-Gale software (Version 1.3 and later) automatically feeds into the Chicago Proforma through an export process in the program.
